  • Ann Layton

    FOUNDER & CEO

    Ann Layton is Canada’s leading communications consultant specializing in travel and tourism public relations, with over 25 years experience working with blue chip clients around the world. Prior to founding Siren Communications, she was Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. Layton has an MSc Economics from London School of Economics and is fluent in French and Spanish.

    Passionate about the issue of sustainability, Layton was named Green Hotelier of the Year by the International Hotel Association in Paris, France, and has served on the Communications Committee of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) in London, England. She was first ever chair of the Media Relations Committee of the Canadian Tourism Council and is a recipient of the prestigious “Best in Show” Award at the HSMAI (Hotel Sales and Marketing Association International) Adrian Awards in New York.

    Layton found her love of the hospitality industry working as a waitress at Jasper Park Lodge and is a former Wardair flight attendant.

  • Tim Gallant

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Tim Gallant is a seasoned PR professional with over 20 years of experience executing successful campaigns for international lifestyle brands, specializing in travel, fashion, food & beverage and retail. Prior to joining Siren in 2019, Tim managed external communications for Starbucks Canada, developing and implementing strategy for the coffee giant. During his five-year tenure as Director of Communications for Harry Rosen, Canada’s leading menswear retailer, he managed digital campaigns and media launches in partnership with luxury brands including Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, and Zegna.

    As the former digital editor of Harry Magazine, Tim brings a keen editorial eye to Siren, producing astute and informative content that raises brand awareness and drives sales . He began his career with his own boutique fashion and lifestyle agency and retains an entrepreneurial outlook that he uses to craft creative plans for our clients.

  • April Jackson

    DIRECTOR

    April Jackson has over 18 years experience developing public relations campaigns for luxury consumer products. Prior to joining Siren in 2018 she worked with luxury beauty brand Elizabeth Grant, where she achieved consistent client coverage in top tier publications, managed product placement and designed upscale promotional events. Jackson specializes in developing data driven influencer marketing plans that help our clients tell their story through essential points of contact.

    Jackson manages Siren Communications influencer program, leveraging social media outlets to benefit our international client roster. Jackson has a specific area of expertise in the Caribbean region, having resided in the Bahamas. She is a graduate of Queens University and spent 10 years serving on the Board of the Canadian Lyford Cay Foundation.
